Loss of Interest

www.glamour.com
I'm pretty sure Sean has lost interest in me. It's weird to say that considering we've probably talked a total of five times in the last two weeks but I still think he has lost interest. We haven't had a real conversation in almost a week and when I pass by him there's no "Hey" and he doesn't flash that gorgeous smile at me.

We had a meet yesterday and I spent all day with him. We literally talked like, twice. And it wasn't even anything special. Twice is better than nothing...right?

I guess this is kind of my fault. I've been all shy around him and avoided him for a few days so he's probably thinking that I'm the one who's uninterested. I really hope not because I love talking to him, even if it's to tell him that he did a good job in his race. He's a super nice and really sweet guy. Plus, he's crazy attractive. I think I've mentioned that a few times.

He's a junior so I feel like we have nothing in common--therefore nothing to talk about. But I have school and practice tomorrow so maybe I'll talk to him then.

I'm So Excited, I Just Can't Hide It!

So I know I said I wouldn't start crushing...but I am! Sean and I talked again today. I sound like such a freshman, but I don't even care. We had a nice conversation after practice and even if it wasn't as long as the one on the bus, it was still great! I'm pretty much letting down all my walls and letting out all of my excitement. At this point, I don't even care how immature or weird I seem. I mean, Sean is this super attractive, really athletic, nice, sweet, funny guy and he actually wants to sit down and talk to me? Yeah, it's pretty amazing. And especially after what went down in Wisconsin, this makes me feel incredible.

Okay, that's it. See you in my next post.

Update- Dieting, Track and Field

www.goodpasture.org
After weeks of conditioning, mandatory practice, or "tryouts", has started.
The workouts are intense, and literally take my breath away.
Just yesterday we had to run three 300s, two 200s, and one 100. If you don't know how much these are, well...Google it.
We had no rest in between the sprints, and we definitely had no water breaks.
But as tiring and as hard as those workouts were, I love track so much that I'm not even close to quitting. Plus, the hot, sweaty, athletic guys keep me motivated.

As for my diet, it's easy and actually kind of fun. I don't really understand why women complain about diets so much. Unless it is something you need to do for health reasons, it's completely optional.

I'm going on a "healthy" diet.
Meaning I will reduce my soda intake, salt intake, and especially sugar intake.
I only indulge in something "unhealthy" about once or twice a week. Not to mention that I'm trying to get all my nutritional daily values, without exceeding it, and drinking at least eight glasses of water every day.
I'm taking vitamins too.
It's really exciting to see how my body takes it so well (no, I am not losing any weight here) and it really transfers on the track. I recommend any athlete--or just anyone at all--to get in-shape by a good diet.

And just to throw it out there, my obsession number 156132 is the (future) big rapper Novi Novak. Look him up, no matter who you are, you will love him.

Repeat

So yesterday I had practice again. My second track practice this summer. I've been working out and eating better so that I'd have the energy to do my best during practice. I think it worked a little...except that I did feel horrible afterwards. What happened last week happened again yesterday. Except this time I didn't feel dizzy, I just felt hot, sick, tired, out of breath, and thirsty. So I got some water, went to the bathroom, laid down on the floor (in the handicapped stall), and relaxed. I felt like I had to "go" so I "went" and after wards left the bathroom. I then sat down in a cool, shaded area and waited to be picked up and go home. It was bad, but better than last week. It only lasted about 30 minutes as opposed to an hour and a half. I think I'll keep doing what I've been doing and I should be good.

I'll be going to Wisconsin in 7 days. Im SO nervous.

Breakdown

So, practice, yesterday, was a DISASTER. Not only was it awkward and everyone was staring at me...but I started running my workout. Which was eight 150's. I ran three of them and started to feel dizzy. Then I couldn't breathe, my stomach starting twisting up, my legs were so weak I couldn't walk, I felt light headed and tired and I couldn't even talk right. I tried to talk but all that came out was a few words that were kind of mumbled. No one could really understand me. I was a little embarrassed... but mostly in pain. I sat on the floor for like, an hour and a half, in pain, and trying to relax. I don't know what happened, maybe I just was in bad shape or I hadn't eaten enough (there's not much to eat at home). I have no idea. All I know is that I want to be done with track. I don't want something like that to happen again. I'll go to ONE more practice, and if that works out, I'll stick with track. I'll keep you updated. Wish me luck!

P.S. Sorry for the lack of pictures on my recent posts. I don't think any would match.
