Mean Girls 2?

I had to come here and rant about this new movie. Mean Girls 2, a sequel to Mean Girls. Which is a classic movie about all the cliques in highschool. Did you catch that...CLASSIC!
Now they have decided to ruin the movie by adding this stupid sequel. The worst part is that there are Disney actresses in this new "Mean Girls 2" movie.
WHEN WILL THEY STOP WITH THESE DISNEY STARS?!

Please watch this trailer and find one good thing about this upcoming movie. Give up? That's right. There's nothing good about it!
It will be lame, annoying, childish, stupid, lame, low rated, sucky, and lame. But I already said that.

When I first heard the rumor about a Mean Girls 2 coming out, my heart dropped and I almost cried. I knew this wouldn't be a good thing.
I can't believe they would go and do that! Do they really expect this to be successful? Cause I can guarantee you it will not. NO ONE wants to spend their money on a Disney version of the original Mean Girls movie. I know for sure I won't be. Even if someone offered it to me for free, I wouldn't take it!

Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Track and Field

"As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them."  -John Fitzgerald Kennedy

agwired.com
Thanksgiving was a fail this year.

My mom had to work, my brother left to be with his friends and my sister and I stayed home. Maybe it wasn't a complete fail since my mom promised us that we'd get a Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday when she has no work.
That's what we always do.
It would be different, but my mom has to pay the bills. She can only do that if she works right? Right.

Today is Black Friday. In the United States that is the day after Thanksgiving when a ton of stores have HUGE sales. Stores open as early as 2 am and people stand outside the doors for hours waiting to get inside and shop. It's completely worth is since the deals are as low as 80% off! Some stores even offer more deals than that!
Anyway, I won't be shopping this year. We're low on cash and now is just not a good time.

I'm fine with it though. Besides school starting back, I'm pretty excited for next week. Track starts December 1st and even if I am nervous, I'm excited as well!

I'll write later.

10 Celebrities I'd Love To Meet

These are in no particular order. I couldn't put it in an order if I had to. I look up to each and every one of these people.

Justjared.com

Rihanna- I've loved Rihanna since she first came into the industry. She wasn't even big yet, but she had me at "Unfaithful". Her music is so addicting, catchy and touching. She is so beautiful. Whether she has a short pixie cut or hair down to her shoulders, I will always envy her beauty. She is also so strong. The incident with Chris Brown gave hope to everyone in this world. She made me realize that there is an end to every bad situation in life.

adamlambert.info

Adam Lambert- Something about Adam Lambert is very attractive. I love that he doesn't care what people think of him. Not only is he openly homosexual, but he is daring about his style. He seems to have so much confidence. Something that everyone needs more of. I also love his music. He has an amazing voice. I'd kill to see him in concert!

live.drjays.com

Taylor Swift- I admire Taylor Swift. She is so inspirational, gorgeous and talented. Her music is always so down to Earth and real. Something that most girls and even women can relate to. It's hard to believe that such talent came from Youtube. Shes also a big role model to me. You never see her in the tabloids, she is not "growing up too fast", and she definitely isn't another Lindsey Lohan.

creativelogocracy.blogspot.com

Lil Wayne- So Lil Wayne isn't a role model to me or anything, but I do love him. His music is so clever and catchy. I also love that he is original. He doesn't try to be like any other artist, they try to be like him. That makes him so attractive to me. Not to mention that I love his look. The dreads and the all-over-the-body tattoos drive me crazy!

cdn.crushable.com

Kate Veogele- If you aren't familiar with Kate Veogele you are missing out! Not only is she incredibly pretty, but I have never heard so much talent in my life. I have heard her sing live and I've heard her studio versions. They are almost identical. She got her start on the show One Tree Hill and ever since then I've been obsessed with her. Her voice gives me chills. I really admire the fact that she didn't have to take off her clothes or marry one of those player celebrities to get big. She is proof that true talent still exists.

celebdomain.com

Shemar Moore- This has to be the thousandth time that I have mentioned Shemar Moore on my blog. I love him! He is insanely good looking but also a really great actor. You can tell he takes his job very seriously and that he loves what he is doing. I can't get enough of him on Criminal Minds!
I've seen many videos and interviews of him showing his real personality and I absolutely love how funny he is! He is one of those people that I would love to be friends with.

Betty White- Anytime I hear Betty White it makes me smile! She is too cute. She's an amazing actress and has been since 1939. Not to mention she is hilarious! I loved her on Saturday Night Live and that funny Super Bowl commercial. She may be 88, but her talent is good as new! She is also so beautiful. When I'm that age I hope to look as good as she does. It would be such an honor to meet Betty White. I'm hoping it happens one day.

Ryan Reynolds- Oh goodness, Ryan Reynolds. He's so good looking it's scary! But he also is very inspirational. Ryan Reynold's career started very slow and at one point, he even quit acting. But he got back on his feet and kept trying, I love him for that. I loved his role in "The Amityville Horror". He played his character so well. Then we got to see his funny side in "The Proposal". He is so charming and incredibly talented.

exposay.com

Tyra Banks- My biggest role model of them all is Tyra Banks. She seems so wise, confident, and independent. I love that she isn't afraid to speak the truth and that she doesn't care what people think about her. When I'm at her age, I can only hope to be that successful and wise. Her beauty shines above all. She's almost flawless! I always look to her show and website for advice and wisdom. Almost like a second Bible. If I met her, my life would be complete.
Robert Downey Jr.- Finally, we get to Robert Downey Jr. One of my favorite actors. He is so sexy, talented, funny, and successful. I have never seen someone play every single character, like he has, and portray them so well. I especially love him in action movies. Like "Iron Man".
I look up to him. I hope that someday I can be successful just like he is. He deserves all the fame that he has and all the fame that he will continue to get. I can't even begin to tell you how much it would mean to me if ever met him. I'd take him to dinner and then bring him back to my house for dessert...

Of course I also love Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Reese Witherspoon, Alicia Keys and many other celebrities, these are the ones I chose to list.

Thoughts #3- Girls and Makeup

www.helpfulhealthtips.com
Makeup. I feel like girls who wear makeup are misunderstood. Not every makeup wearing girl in the world is insecure or ugly like some people think.

Wearing makeup is fun. There are so many colors to choose from, so many brands, so many products and so much you can do with it! Almost like being an artist. Your face is an empty canvas and you "paint" it with makeup. I know I always get excited when I buy new eyeshadow. Its just another thing I can play with!
nikkietutorials.com
Yes, some girls wear " a lot" of makeup. But that doesn't necessarily mean they are insecure or they think they are ugly. It could just be that they like the look of thick eyeliner, or they love wearing black eyeshadow on their entire eyelid. For them, makeup could be a hobby. Just like painting, or sewing, or any other creative hobby.
It is their preference of how much makeup is "too much" for them...not anyone else's.

Makeup is a good way to enhance your features. If you have beautiful, plump lips you can show them off with a pretty lipstick. Or if your eyes are the most gorgeous green, you can add a complementary eyeshadow color that will brighten up your eyes. When you're looking a little tired and dull, you can use some blush to bring some life into your face.

Wearing makeup is also a way to boost your confidence. I don't mean that anyone who wears makeup has no confidence without it. But makeup can give someone more confidence than they already have.

I know that anytime I wear makeup, whether it is just a little eyeliner, a small amount of mascara, or a full face of makeup. I always feel a little more confident. Without makeup, I just feel like everyone else. I don't stand out and I don't feel as amazing as I do with makeup.

I sometimes feel insecure, with or without makeup. But everyone, men and women, boys and girls have those days.
Maybe I just got rejected, or someone said something hurtful to me and I lose a little of that confidence I've been carrying around. But I quickly pick myself back up. I accept that I'm not perfect.

You have to always keep in mind that you are beautiful, just like everyone in this world. Black, white, tall, short, thin, curvy, long hair, short hair, every race, every face, everyone is beautiful in their own way. It sounds cliche. But it's true. Even if you don't believe it.

This is kind of random, but I seriously love this video. I really want to share it with someone.

The man in this video (wearing red), Camillo Lauricella, is a hip hop dancer and choreographer. He travels around the world teaching dance moves to hip hop dancers. Camillo has had many TV appearances, and has been on the German So Think You Can Dance. He also has a Youtube channel of some of the routines he makes with his dance partners and students. Camillo has also won many awards for Hip Hop competitions. Not only is he incredibly good looking, but he is also very talented.

Minty's Christmas Wishlist- Item #2

I'm always on the hunt for a great bargain. This Nikon Coolpix L22 Red 12MP Digital Camera is perfect! I've been in need of a camera for as long as I could remember.

I did some research checking Olympus, Kodak and even Sony cameras but this is what I liked the most. I've heard excellent reviews saying that this camera "takes clear and vibrant pictures", "has all the basic features anyone could want." and someone even said that the camera "could not be simpler." This Nikon Coolpix camera is only $89.99 and has face detection, 16 Scene Modes, on camera editing, up to 4x zoom, high resolution LCD screen and more. One of my favorite things aout this camera is that is has something called "Best Shot Selector" where it automatically takes up to 10 shots while the shutter is pressed and saves the best quality image.

I'm so excited to get this, I have never owned a digital camera so this will be new for me.
I would finally be able to take profile pictures for Twitter and Facebook without having to ask my friends to borrow their cameras.
As soon as I get this camera, I will be making kind of a fun post for you all. It might be a video, who knows...? (:

Friends or Frenemies?

So, as everyone knows, friendships fade. People change. They mature, or become immature. Maybe someone new comes into their life and they have forgotten all about you. Sometimes tragedy has struck in their lives. But no matter what people will change.

My bestfriend, Eva, has changed. She's changed to the point that I don't know if we are even bestfriends anymore. I want to be, but it's hard. I absolutely hate her boyfriend. I like to call him Jackass. I'm also a bit jealous of her too. Not because she has a boyfriend and I don't. Not because she is spoiled and I'm far from it. Not because all the guys always want her. Not because she is tall and I'm only 5"3.But because no matter what she does in her life that is "wrong", she still lives better than I ever have. Bad luck seems to follow me, and for her, good luck just chases her as she passes by.
It's true when they say bad things happen to good people.

Anyway, back to the subject. She's become everything I don't want her to be, and everything I don't want myself to be. I almost don't know her anymore.
When it's just her and me, we have a great time. But anytime her racist, ugly, jackass of a boyfriend is around, it's all "let's put Jackass before my bestfriends."

I want to remain her bestfriend. I want her to be mine too. We've been through so much, but there is a time when you have to let nature take it's natural course.

Thoughts #2- PMS

My periods are the worst. I don't know if anyone else has it this bad, but they're awful.
Lets start off with cramps. On a scale of one to ten, ten being the most painful, my cramps are a full blown ten. No exaggeration. One time, I had to rush to the emergency room (at 1:00 am) because my cramps were so bad...I couldn't even walk!
Once they start, there is no stopping them. Medicine will not work.
If my cramps are just starting I can quickly take some medicine and the pain will go away, and no longer continue.
But if I wake up from the pain of my cramps, then there is no hope for me.
Only a heating pad can treat my cramps once they have started. And sometimes that doesn't even work.

Then comes the headaches. Migraines really. Any dramatic movement I do will make my head start pounding. Loud noise, bright lights...all make my head pound even harder. I can put ice on my forehead, a hot towel on my forehead or take medicine. But it never makes a big enough impact. It still hurts and it doesn't really feel much better.

The backaches are so uncomfortable too. You don't know how to position your body to stop it from being so painful. As with my cramps and headaches, once the backache has gone to a certain amount of pain, it will not go away with medicine.

Cravings, moodiness, clumsiness and laziness also applies to me during my period.
I tend to get over emotional, impatient, and bored with everything.
It hurts [ALOT] to poop, I get cramps in my vagina "wings" too...is that even normal?

Let me know if you have symptoms this bad. It happens almost every month. And to me, the pain is unbearable. Not to mention that I have an incredibly low tolerance for pain.

My Halloween Night 2010

Eva, Eva's boyfriend, Sabrina, Sabrina's sister Samantha, Samantha's boyfriend and I all decided we wanted to go trick or treating on Saturday. For hours we planned where we would meet, what time, and how long we would stay. We had to go through so much to get it all figured out, I almost cried it was so confusing.
So finally we worked it out and I got my costume on, did my makeup really pretty and headed out the door.

I was to meet Eva at her house so we could meet with the others in our meeting spot. Once I got to her house, it turns out that Eva can no longer go because her boyfriend Jackass* couldn't make it. She didn't want to go without him.
Either way, she still dropped my off at the original meeting spot and I was just going to have to go trick or treating without her and Jackass.
Soon, we reached Sabrina's house (the meeting spot). We were on our way down the street to start getting our candy when out of no where her mom comes home and starts screaming at us.

I am not exaggerating, she was literally screaming! It was scary actually. She was cussing at me saying I was a dumbass, that my parents were stupid for thinking I could go trick or treating on Saturday when Halloween was Sunday. She also mentioned that I was to never come back to her house again.
I could have slapped her, I really wanted to.

So after screaming at me, Sabrina and her sister, (turns out her boyfriend couldn't come either) she took me home.
The whole 15 minutes in the car with that woman, she was still yelling at us. Repeating the same thing over and over. It made me angry that I couldn't yell back at her since she was an adult and it also made me angry that Sabrina has to live with her when she is like that.

Because of Sabrina's mom, my night was ruined. I couldn't go trick or treating, nor could I even go back to Sabrina's house.
I eventually got over it, but I don't think I have ever been so mad in my life!
